B2O or Trackary: which one should you choose for your construction equipment fleet?
B2O publishes myB2O, a management suite for construction and landscaping SMEs, maintenance service providers and in-house maintenance departments (vendor website). Its equipment fleet module is part of the myB2O suite and does not work standalone (Fleet module page). Trackary, a standalone CMMS dedicated to equipment, instead meets the need to track maintenance, VGP inspections and field mechanics without switching management software.
You searched “B2O equipment fleet software” and you are torn between a full ERP and a tool dedicated to the workshop. Here is what each vendor publishes, with a link to every source, to help you choose based on your organisation.
B2O in brief
According to its website, B2O offers several products under the myB2O brand: myB2O BTP, an ERP (integrated management software) “for construction, civil works and landscaping businesses”; myB2O Field Service for maintenance and after-sales service providers; and myB2O Interventions, CMMS software for in-house maintenance teams. The vendor states it targets SMEs of 20 to 250 employees (home page).
According to its dedicated page, the equipment fleet management module covers vehicles, trucks, construction equipment (MEWPs, mini excavators, forklifts, compactors), tools and safety equipment. It tracks equipment condition, inspections and costs, mileage or hour meters with an alert before due dates, and displays assigned equipment on a map (Fleet module page).
Important point stated by the vendor: this module “is an integral part of the myB2O solutions. It does not work standalone and cannot be integrated with other software.” B2O states it can be made available alongside the Scheduling module for a construction SME with at least 50 employees, and that it does not manage work order flows: for that, B2O points to its CMMS (same page), which “can also work standalone” (CMMS page).

When to choose B2O over Trackary
myB2O is the better fit for your needs if:
- You are a construction, civil works or landscaping SME and want one piece of software for quotes, invoicing, purchasing and dashboards (source), with equipment in the same tool (source).
- You want logged hours to feed cost accounting and payroll preparation without double entry (source).
- You need to manage spare parts stock with alert thresholds (source) or invoicing: Trackary does not do this.
- You also manage jobs at customer sites (maintenance, after-sales service), covered by myB2O Field Service (source).
- You want to see your assigned equipment on a map (source), or connect sensors for condition-based maintenance (source).
When to choose Trackary
Trackary is a standalone maintenance tool for equipment. It meets a different need if:
- You already have management or invoicing software and don’t want to switch just to track your equipment.
- Your fleet is mainly made up of construction equipment, MEWPs, forklifts or road-rail vehicles, with checks such as VGP, the equipotential bonding test or RFN approval.
- Your mechanics work on site or on the track, often with no signal, and need to file a job report with checklist items, observations and a signature from their phone.
- The field needs to be able to report an anomaly with photos, the component involved, findings and minor or major severity.
- You want to see the tool on your own equipment before deciding: Trackary starts with a 30-minute video demo, then a no-obligation quote.
How to try Trackary
Trackary does not replace an ERP: it sits alongside your current management software, whatever it is.
- Prepare the list of your equipment (fleet number, category, hour meter, documents). Our free fleet management spreadsheet (/outils/tableau-parc-materiel.xlsx) can serve as a base.
- List your inspections and their due dates; the free Excel VGP tracking spreadsheet (/suivi-vgp-excel) and the due date calculator (/periodicite-vgp#calculateur) help you take stock.
- Request a demo to see the equipment record, the schedule and the technician app.
- Start with part of the fleet and a few mechanics, then expand.
If you want to track equipment maintenance without changing your management software, a 30-minute demo will show you whether Trackary is right for you. Request a demo →
