Alternative to Mobility Work: which tool for your equipment fleet?
Mobility Work and Trackary are both computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS), with different publicly stated scopes. According to its site, Mobility Work is a collaborative CMMS deployed in industry, with parts management and a dedicated construction page (vendor's site). Trackary focuses on tracking construction equipment, its inspection deadlines and technicians' jobs.

Mobility Work in brief
According to its site, Mobility Work is a CMMS claiming deployment "in under 3 weeks" and a solution rolled out across more than 450 factories in 36 countries (homepage). Its pricing page lists Premium, Advanced and Enterprise, available on request; Premium includes unlimited equipment and work order management, history and spare parts management; the Enterprise plan targets industrial groups with security, compliance and governance needs (Pricing page).
Its mobile app (iOS and Android) lets you view equipment documentation, create a work request by QR code with photos, and "complete your jobs even in areas with no signal" (Mobile app page). Its construction page mentions cranes, aerial platforms and compressors, VGP inspection history and statutory checks, and fault sharing with photos (Construction page). It would therefore be inaccurate to present offline mobile use, photos or VGP tracking as exclusive to Trackary.

When to choose Mobility Work over Trackary
If your priority is standardising maintenance across multiple factories or workshops, Mobility Work addresses that need: the vendor claims over 450 equipped factories in 36 countries and deployment in under 3 weeks (source), and its Advanced plan adds custom dashboards (source). It also manages spare parts (source): this can be decisive if your technicians need to log parts used within the CMMS. Trackary manages neither stock nor parts.
Mobility Work also suits you if you want to trigger a work request by scanning a QR code on the machine (source): Trackary doesn't do QR codes. For a fair comparison, show each vendor your real case: a machine out of action, a part to order, a job to assign and a history to hand over.
When to choose Trackary
If you mainly manage construction equipment spread across several sites, Trackary organises work around each machine: category, fleet number, hour meter, maintenance logbook and documents. You can configure VGP and safety equipment inspection deadlines; for road-rail vehicles, examples include the bonding/earthing test and RFN approval. This tracking doesn't carry out or certify the checks on your behalf.
A fault reported from the field can be described with its component, finding, minor or major severity and photos. The manager then assigns a job to a technician's schedule. On mobile, the technician finds today's jobs and the machine record, then fills in a report with checkpoints, observations and a signature. A PDF job report can be produced.
Without a network, data already loaded stays available in the mobile app; entries and photos sync once the connection comes back. The website, on the other hand, requires a connection. Trackary is available on request, following a 30-minute video demo. Trackary doesn't cover parts stock, invoicing, rental, GPS or telematics: if these functions are central to your organisation, factor them explicitly into your comparison.
Trying Trackary
A good trial starts from a real-world file, not an abstract checklist. Prepare an excavator or MEWP record, a deadline to track and a fault to report: you'll quickly see whether the workflow matches your teams' day-to-day.
- Gather the list of your machines, their fleet numbers, hour meters and latest inspection documents.
- Ask for a demo, and walk through a deadline, a report with a photo and assigning a job.
- Check with the technician what stays available on mobile without a network and how the report syncs.
- Compare what's included: Trackary is priced on request, with an offline field app, hosting and support included.
