CMMS for construction equipment
A CMMS for construction and civil engineering equipment
A CMMS for construction equipment is software that centralises each machine's record, its inspections (VGP, EQ, RFN for road-rail vehicles), its faults and its jobs. With Trackary, the office schedules work on the web and mechanics fill in their reports on mobile, even without a network. Trackary is quote-based, after a 30-minute video demo, with no commitment.
Trackary brings together the fleet, inspections, faults and jobs for your construction equipment in a single tool. The office works on the web, mechanics work on mobile.
Why a CMMS dedicated to construction equipment
A construction equipment fleet isn't managed like a fleet of fixed machines. Excavators, wheel loaders, aerial work platforms and road-rail vehicles move from site to site. Hour meters tick over fast. Statutory inspections fall on different dates for each machine.
As long as everything fits in a spreadsheet and a few binders, tracking depends on the memory of one or two people. A construction CMMS exists to make this information visible to the whole team: what's up to date, what's coming due, what's out of service.
The same questions come up every week. Which excavator can go out on Monday? When is the next VGP inspection due on that aerial platform? Who changed the hose on the wheel loader? Without a shared tool, every answer means a phone call or a search through the binders.
What Trackary centralises for your fleet
Every machine has its own record. You find its category, identifier, hour meter and compliance status there. Search lets you find a machine in seconds.
Inspections are configurable. You define which ones apply to each equipment category and how often. Trackary then lists the deadlines to prepare for and sends alerts before the dates fall due.
- Equipment fleet: one record per machine, with compliance status shown
- Configurable inspections and deadlines: VGP, EQ, RFN for road-rail vehicles
- Faults reported from the field, with photo and severity level
- Job scheduling and technician assignment
- Maintenance logbook: job history and reports per machine
From the office to the field, with no re-keying
The workshop manager or fleet manager schedules jobs from the web. They pick a time slot and assign a technician. The mechanic sees their jobs for the day on the mobile app.
On site, they open the machine record, record the hour meter reading and enter their report. If there's no signal on the site, data already loaded stays available to view. Entries sync once the connection is back.
The report is then attached to the machine's history. The office doesn't have to copy out a paper form.
Faults follow the same path. A driver or technician reports a defect with a photo. The office sees it, classifies it as major or minor, and schedules the repair. The fault stays open until it's dealt with.
What Trackary does, and what it doesn't do
Trackary is maintenance software for construction equipment. It helps you track dates, prepare for deadlines and keep a record of jobs.
Trackary does not carry out VGP inspections and does not certify that your equipment is compliant. Inspections are still carried out by a competent person or inspection body. The operator's responsibility doesn't change. The tool also doesn't handle rental invoicing, telematics or machine geolocation.
Getting set up and pricing
Trackary is quote-based, after a 30-minute video demo, with no commitment. There's no tie-in.
The simplest route is a 30-minute video demo on a few of your machines; the quote follows within 24 working hours.
During the demo, we look at your current setup: number of machines, types of inspections tracked, size of the workshop team. This lets you see whether Trackary fits your needs before going any further.
